Illustration + DVD Mockup. Typography was a much anticipated course for me in 2023. In Typography Fundamentals, students were instructed to create a theatrical film poster of our choice with an emphasis on type and style. My choice was David Fincher’s 2007 film “Zodiac” The film depicts the infamous slayings from the late 1960s, where the man behind the crimes taunted Northern California with menacing letters featuring cryptic symbols. Zodiac was the perfect film for Typography Fundamentals, offering a wide range of creative space to explore. The poster was revisited in 2024 for Portfolio Pathway, allowing me to enhance the lettering and create a mockup to bring the poster to life.

It’s pronounced Tum-Ayr-Ick. Now that we’ve got that out of the way — I am a graphic designer in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With my own at-home studio Pineapplehead, I thrive on doing the hard work for a client in need of design expertise, because that is where my innate curiosity takes the driver’s seat! My attitude toward design is that it must have the Tamerick *flare. Audacity and boldness, with a foundational message that ties everything together. After wrapping up a project, clients have never pronounced my name wrong again.
